Moet & Chandon Imperial Brut Champagne 750mL
Moët Impérial is the signature non-vintage Champagne of the house, created in 1869.
- It is a blend of over 100 different wines, including 20–30% reserve wines, which contribute to its depth and consistency.
- Grape composition: 30–40% Pinot Noir, 30–40% Pinot Meunier, 20–30% Chardonnay.
- Dosage (sugar): ~7–9 g/L (Brut).
- Ageing: About 24 months in the cellar, plus a minimum of 3 months resting after disgorgement.
Tasting Notes
Appearance:
- Golden straw yellow color, with subtle green highlights.
Aroma (Nose):
- Bright and lively fruit notes: green apple, citrus.
- Mineral undertones and delicate white flowers.
- Subtle “blond” mature notes: brioche, cereal, and fresh nuts.
Palate (Taste):
- Generous white-fleshed fruit: pear, peach, apple.
- Fine, delicate bubbles that caress the palate.
- Light citrus vivacity and a hint of gooseberry.
- Silky and creamy texture, balanced with fresh acidity.
Finish:
- Clean and lingering finish with crispness and subtle citrus peel notes.
