The 2022 vintage is estate-grown exclusively within Chimney Rock’s appellation in Napa’s Stags Leap District, featuring a blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (around 76%) with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec.
Tasting Note
- Aroma: Bright blackberries, black currant, blueberries, and savory herbal notes reminiscent of herbes de Provence .It also offers sultry layers of cherry, tobacco, vanilla, and caramel with hints of dried sage.
- Palate: Full-bodied yet elegant with silky tannins and a viscous, concentrated mid-palate. Flavor notes include plum, dried fig, black cherry with peppery-clove and hickory spice accents, wrapped in vanilla oak.
- Finish: Long, resonant with savory spice and underlying minerality.
