Certified at 12.5% ABV, this Champagne is a blend of 46% Pinot Noir, 37% Chardonnay and 17% Pinot Meunier from the house’s estate vineyards and selection of top cru supply.

Krug has dubbed the 2011 vintage “Spirited Roundness,” describing a wine that combines generosity of fruit with structural clarity.

• Appearance: A refined medium golden-straw colour, showing maturity with clarity and vibrancy.
• Nose: Bright citrus (candied lemons, mandarin peel), white orchard fruits (pear, fresh apple), brioche and toasted hazelnut notes, with hints of gentle herbs and spice (licorice, basil leaf).
• Palate: Medium to full-bodied with plush texture yet serious backbone. Expect layered flavors of ripe orchard fruit, subtle stone fruit, pastry-like richness, tempered by fine mousse, fresh acidity, and a mineral/saline undercurrent.
