El Dorado LBI DHE High Ester 750ml
This is the first of nine high ester blended rums crafted in response to the growing demand for the lesser-known marques from Diamond Distillery’s fourteen operating stills. The El Dorado High Ester Blend combines two marques: the Diamond High Ester (DHE) marque and the inherited La Bonne Intention (LBI) marque. For rum enthusiasts, the DHE marque is distilled in Diamond Distillery’s John Dore double retort copper pot still from a wash fermented over several months, resulting in final ester levels exceeding 1,500 g/hL AA (grams per hectoliter of absolute alcohol). Anticipate a concentration of rich fruit and confectionery notes rather than gamey hogo.
